Coopering, the art of crafting barrels, has been around for thousands of years and is arguably one of mankind’s most important inventions. While the uses for these barrels may have evolved over time, the essential role they play in the creation of whiskey has not.
Our guest, David Day from Canton Cooperage, chats with us about the cask production process and Canton’s unique barrel program. Our Lone Star American single malt collection has been aging in Canton Cooperage barrels for 2.5 years now. On this WanderbackLIVE we’ll also share how this whiskey is progressing.
